~ Flights range from 45 minutes to 1 hour. Total flight experience
lasts 2-3 hours.
~ Distance is determined by wind speed. Ideal wind conditions
are 10 mph or less.
~ Up to two adults and one child fit comfortably in the
gondola. We can take larger groups in multiple balloons.
~ Family and friends not flying are always welcome at launch and
during chase.
~ Flights are usually northeast of Indianapolis, however we can
schedule flights in a preferred location.
~ Safety is our number one concern when scheduling flights, launch
sites and launch locations!
~ Call for flight availability. Flights can be scheduled up to 6 months
in advance.
~ Two to three days before your scheduled flight, the pilot or crew
chief will contact you confirming flight time and launch site.
~ Within 24 hours of your flight, the pilot or crew chief will contact
you with last minute flight instructions or possible cancellation.
~ Please remember - Passenger safety is our number one concern!
~ Although, we fly year around, we do not fly passengers in temperatures
exceeding 90 degrees or in excessive winds. Heat and humidity are
extremely hard on equipment, crew and passengers.
~ If your flight is canceled, we will reschedule you immediately for
the next available flight.
~ Wear comfortable attire! Closed toed shoes required (tennis shoes
or boots are best). Please - NO flip-flops, sandals or heeled shoes.
Winter flights - dress in layers, gloves, hat and winter boots if desired.
We do fly in the winter - beautiful flights when snow is on the ground!
You will stay fairly warm in the basket with radiant heat from the
burners, but toes do get cold!
